What it is: A training program for parents of Black children who wish to become peer parent advocates and help other parents like themselves navigate the school system and better advocate for their families. This program will give peer advocates the knowledge and tools to support families in their community schools, while also empowering them to continue advocating for better conditions in the school system. The training culminates in an action project where participants will demonstrate their skills.

Time Frame: 6 week program, meeting once a week. (to be determined by participants what date/time works best) (online and in-person modalities available)
