March 25, 2023 @ 1:30 pm 2:30 pm EDT

Parents for Diversity has developed an anti-racism collection to allow for parents, educators, and community members to gain the skills and tools to better address and teach their children on the concepts surrounding anti-oppression and antiracism. We recognize that as educators, parents, and the people that engage children in the world, having the resources to address things like racism, diversity, discrimination and even self-love is something that is needed. That is why we are inviting you to a learning session where you will learn to navigate our collection and provide you with the knowledge and tools to integrate these in your curriculum or to simply be better suited to speak to these concepts with your children.

This session will target the navigation of the collection, addressing large concepts and comfort, and will give examples of integration.

First five to register and attend the session will receive a FREE book from our collection.

This free event will be hosted via Zoom videoconferencing. Attendees will be emailed the link an hour before the start of the event in order to maintain a secure online space. This email will be sent to the address you registered with when you purchased your ticket through Eventbrite. If you have accessibility needs, please contact us directly.
